Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Gracie (ranked 678 p4p, 1768 weight class) and AJ Llewellyn (ranked 106 p4p, 268 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Llewellyn's choice of entrance music: Doomsday. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Llewellyn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Llewellyn sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Llewellyn tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Llewellyn back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie is trying to drag Llewellyn to the mat but Llewellyn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Llewellyn has picked Gracie up - he's going for a ride! Llewellyn dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Gracie has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Llewellyn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Llewellyn wants to pass to mount but Gracie is defending the position.
