Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Taverez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayabie Yamazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taverez comes to the cage accompanied by Take it to the top. Yamazaki is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Heights. Ayabie Yamazaki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Taverez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ayabie Yamazaki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamazaki moves into the clinch successfully.
Taverez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Taverez tries to score a body lock takedown but Yamazaki shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Yamazaki gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Yamazaki wants to control from the top but Taverez keeps moving. Taverez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yamazaki is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Taverez. Yamazaki decides to stand back up. Taverez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Yamazaki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Taverez keeping moving, preventing Yamazaki from controlling successfully. Yamazaki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Yamazaki advances to half guard. Yamazaki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Taverez!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamazaki trying to control but Taverez is having none of it. Taverez is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Yamazaki locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Taverez is forced to tap!
