Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shichiroji San (ranked 1538 p4p, 1123 weight class) and Diamond Hand (ranked 229 p4p, 178 weight class). San comes to the cage accompanied by Seven Samurai. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shichiroji San!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Diamond Hand!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hand counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shichiroji San seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hand on the wrong end of a nice hook.
San slips under a jab from Hand.
San tries to clinch but Hand moves away
enabling Hand to counter with a crisp jab.
San throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hand! But no joy.
San is looking to clinch but Hand is avoiding it.
San fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
San moves in looking to clinch but Hand pushes him off.
Hand swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
No joy there for San, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hand is clearly trying to counter these attacks from San with a body shot.
Hand loads up on a big right hand but San slips the punch.
San misses with a left hand
and Hand counters with a lovely shot to the body.

San tries to clinch up.
Hand looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
San fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hand manages to avoid it.
San misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hand.
San ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hand moves away.
San ducks under a wild hook from Hand.
San tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hand cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
San shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
San displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hand throws out the jab.
San swinging wildly here.
San tries to clinch up but Hand circles away and keeps his distance.
Hand swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

San takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
San tries to clinch but Hand moves out of range.
San misses with a body punch
and San takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

San darts in and clinches Hand up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
San lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hand working hard to break the clinch.
Hand is trying to break free.
Hand tries a body shot but San blocks it.
San lands with a light punch inside.
San throws a head punch that misses.
San lands on the inside with an uppercut.
San scores with a shot to the side of Hand's head.
San swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hand lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
San tries a body shot but Hand blocks it.
A nice left hand lands by San.
Hand misses with a hook to the ribs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
San struggles to land a body shot inside as Hand controls his hands.
Hand misses with the head strike.

Hand pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
San finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
San comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice body punch from San.
San tries to clinch up but Hand circles away and keeps his distance.
San misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hand.
Hand looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hand takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
San is looking to wear down Hand with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hand misses with a body shot.
The fighters circling - Hand throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
San tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A countering left hand to the body from Hand misses.
San is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It seemed like Hand was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

A cross from San lands.
San is looking to clinch but Hand is avoiding it.
San lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Hand is rocked!
Hand chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before San can pounce on him.
Hand is still on wobbly legs! Can San finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hand rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and San counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by San.
Hand seems to have recovered his senses.
Hand tries a body shot but San blocks it.
San throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Hand lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hand lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of San backwards.
San working aggressively here.
San lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hand backwards.
A short left from San.
San lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hand backwards.
San has Hand pressed against the cage, preventing Hand from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Shichiroji San dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

San cracks Hand on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hand falls backwards against the cage. San follows up with more strikes that drop Hand to his knees. San keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hand! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shichiroji San!
Shichiroji San decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
