Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Guilherme Ksyvickis!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ksyvickis to the mat! Ksyvickis manages to get full guard.
Roman is pushing down on Ksyvickis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ksyvickis is fighting to maintain full guard but Roman has managed to sneak the leg through.

Roman is working for a kimura but Ksyvickis is defending it quite comfortably.

Roman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ksyvickis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Roman shoots in looking for a takedown. Ksyvickis tries to sprawl out of it but Roman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ksyvickis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Roman looks to move to half guard but instead Ksyvickis has passed into mount! Damn!

Ksyvickis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roman sprawls well initially but Ksyvickis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ksyvickis is keen to just control but Roman is a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ksyvickis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Roman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Roman showed some decent athleticism there.

Ksyvickis is defending against the submission attempts here by Roman.

Roman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
