The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawford tries for a takedown but Alcano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alcano throws the left hand but Crawford avoids the punch easily.

Crawford changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alcano tries to avoid it but Crawford manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alcano to the ground. Alcano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Crawford is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Alcano still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Alcano has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Crawford closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Crawford has hold of Alcano's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Alcano tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Crawford cranks the arm and Alcano screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Alcano, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
