The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins connects with a body shot.
Ricky Clubber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dawkins scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Clubber swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Dawkins to counter with a crisp jab.

Clubber gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dawkins lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Dawkins lands a nice shot to the body.
Clubber misses with a body punch.
Clubber swings wildly with an uppercut but Dawkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Clubber tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Dawkins scores with a shot to the side of Clubber's head.
Dawkins lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dawkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Clubber throws a shot from downtown. Dawkins moves away and avoids it.
Dawkins circles away from the clinch attempt
and Dawkins counters with a right hand to the body.
Dawkins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clubber.
Clubber shoots in for a double leg but Dawkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dawkins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dawkins lands a big uppercut and Clubber crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Clubber looks OK. Dawkins waves Clubber back to his feet!

Clubber is rocked!
Dawkins drops Clubber with a big left hand! Clubber is injured, injured bad! Dawkins jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
