Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ruddo Ryokale (ranked 2009 p4p, 5338 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 111 p4p, 234 weight class). Great Tiger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ruddo Ryokale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiger connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tiger avoids the head kick by Ryokale.
Tiger scores with a shot to the body.
Crunch! Tiger slams his shin into Ryokale's torso. Tiger's coach down at Sprawl & Brawl was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tiger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Tiger takes a swing at Ryokale's ribcage but misses. Tiger looks to score with a jab to the body but Ryokale is just out of range. Ryokale takes a swing at Tiger's ribcage but misses. A shot to the liver by Tiger. Beautiful body shot. Tiger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale tries to clinch and Tiger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tiger fakes the leg kick and cracks Ryokale in the body. A slapping body kick lands there for Tiger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryokale lands a nice shot to the body.
Ryokale throws the left hand but Tiger avoids the punch easily. Tiger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ryokale manages to avoid it. Ryokale uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tiger.
Tiger takes a swing at Ryokale's ribcage but misses. We've been hearing reports that Ryokale has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Tiger throws a push kick but Ryokale slaps the foot to one side. Ryokale misses with a double jab.
Ryokale rushes Tiger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ryokale taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Tiger is trying to trip Ryokale. He has hold of a leg but Ryokale is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tiger persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Tiger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryokale controls Tiger momentarily but Tiger frees himself. Tiger trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryokale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tiger scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tiger won't allow Ryokale to sweep him here. Tiger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tiger looking to sit in guard and control but Ryokale gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ryokale missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ryokale advances to half guard. Ryokale throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Tiger to regain full guard. Ryokale throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tiger works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tiger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ryokale. Ryokale postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ryokale might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ryokale passes Tiger's left leg - he's now in half guard. Tiger is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ryokale pulls his head out easily. Tiger on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ryokale not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryokale winds up and cracks Tiger with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tiger looking for submissions off his back. Tiger taking some punishment here, with Ryokale in his half guard. Tiger looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ryokale is looking for a kimura here.
Ryokale passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tiger! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Great Tiger will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Tiger wants to clinch and Ryokale counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ryokale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Ryokale there. Tiger is pressing down on Ryokale's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ryokale distracts Tiger with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryokale looking to improve position, pressing down on Tiger's thigh with his hand. Tiger seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Ryokale paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Ryokale's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Tiger picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
