The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz looks for a takedown but White sprawls well.
White forces Cruz back against the cage and clinches.

White is in a horrible position here. Cruz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Cruz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But White has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from White!

Cruz has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.

White avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
White got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cruz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, White has managed to get both his arms back between Cruz's legs - danger averted.
Cruz looking for a triangle here. White is fighting it but it looks tight! Cruz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, White is tapping out - this one is all over!
