Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bertel Haardt (ranked 1531 p4p, 2545 weight class) and Matt Cooper (ranked 55 p4p, 92 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haardt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cooper.
Haardt throws a nice looking combination but Cooper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Cooper looks to land a left hand but Haardt moved out of range nicely.
Haardt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cooper lands a jab to Haardt's midsection.
Cooper shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Haardt eats them both and turns towards Cooper to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Bertel Haardt has been cut.
Haardt takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cooper throws a leg kick but Haardt sees it coming and moves out of range.
Haardt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A nice side step and Cooper releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Cooper has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
