Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jan Koblav!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark O Madsen!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koblav fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
O Madsen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

O Madsen gets a takedown into half guard.
Koblav is trying to maintain the position but O Madsen is very close to passing his half guard.
Koblav gets full guard.
O Madsen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
O Madsen lands a couple of digs.
O Madsen lands a couple of elbows.
Koblav avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Koblav has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
O Madsen wants to control from the top but Koblav keeps moving.
O Madsen is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Koblav is on top in guard.

Koblav passes O Madsen's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Koblav in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. O Madsen tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Koblav!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jan Koblav!
After winning the bout, Jan Koblav thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
