Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregorio Greco (ranked 4561 p4p, 4582 weight class) and Minatay Mibangon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Mibangon counters with a shoot takedown. Greco fights it but they end up in guard.
Greco is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mibangon dives into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Greco is trying to get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon controls the position.

Mibangon moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The crowd cheers as Greco lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mibangon doesn't seem phased though.
Greco is looking to clinch but Mibangon is avoiding it.
Greco jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Mibangon tries a quick counter leg kick but Greco is wise to it.
Greco misses with a few strikes there.
Greco thows a left - swing and a miss!
Greco swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mibangon counters with a takedown into side control.

Let's hope that Mibangon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like Mibangon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Greco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mibangon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Minatay Mibangon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Greco wants to clinch up but Mibangon keeps it at a distance.
Greco misses with a body shot.
A combination from Greco does no damage.

Mibangon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Greco on his heels. He'll look to pass Greco's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mibangon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Greco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Greco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Greco looks to throw the jab but Mibangon is out of range.
Mibangon thinks about the counter body kick.
Greco throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Mibangon counters with a single leg into guard. Greco didn't expect that.
Mibangon postures up and lands a big shot to Greco's brow.

Mibangon's corner is telling him to maintain position.
More stalling from Mibangon.
Mibangon with more of the same as he continues to hold on.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Mibangon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mibangon lands in his opponent's guard.

Mibangon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Minatay Mibangon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Mibangon counters with a big head kick but Greco shrugs it off.
Gregorio Greco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mibangon makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Greco really felt that one!

Greco looks to land a left hand but Mibangon moved out of range nicely.

Greco wants to get back to his feet but Mibangon passes into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Mibangon tries a quick counter leg kick but Greco is wise to it.
Greco misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mibangon.

Mibangon shoots in and gets a takedown into Greco's guard.
Greco wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mibangon manages to pass to side control.

Mibangon is taking a breather. Greco says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Greco scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mibangon manages to mount him!
Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Mibangon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
