And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 137 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fyodor Pending!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Goon finds it's way through Pending's defenses.
Pending looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Goon drops Pending with a beautiful combination! Pending stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Goon is looking for the KO!
Pending is rocked!
Pending drops his hands momentarily. Goon doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pending staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pending doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jerry Goon!
After winning the bout, Jerry Goon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
