Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ron White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy LeCompt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rick Derringer - I am a real American. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ron White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy LeCompt!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeCompt wants to clinch up but White keeps it at a distance.
LeCompt shoots in and drives through. White sprawls well.

White shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than White was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

White working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
LeCompt tries to hold on but White postures up.

White moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, LeCompt has worked his arm free - good work by LeCompt!
LeCompt is trying to improve his position.
White tries to move into full mount but can't pass LeCompt's legs.

White cracks LeCompt with a big elbow.
LeCompt is trying to control White's posture but White avoids it.
White is looking to take a break and control but LeCompt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

White working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
White blocks the strikes from LeCompt.

LeCompt looking for a sweep but White has passed into full mount! Oh no!
LeCompt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
LeCompt is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but White is staying active.
LeCompt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control White kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LeCompt really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
LeCompt tries to lock up and control but White gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
LeCompt looks gassed!

White is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, LeCompt has managed to escape the submission attempt.

White jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but LeCompt manages to avoid the submission attempt.

White tries for a kimura but LeCompt is defending well.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but LeCompt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Despite being in the dominant position, Troy LeCompt just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
LeCompt misses with a takedown

and White counters with a nice double leg into guard.
White trying to control but LeCompt is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
White not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

LeCompt has an active guard here but White has managed to pass into half guard.
LeCompt is staying active underneath White, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White forces LeCompt back against the cage and clinches.

LeCompt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. LeCompt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

LeCompt doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

White drops back looking for a leg! LeCompt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and LeCompt manages to kick White off! White jumps back into LeCompt's guard.
LeCompt is trying to control the position but White postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and LeCompt dives on top into guard.
White working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from LeCompt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
White looking to hit a scissor sweep but LeCompt is one step ahead there.

White had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. LeCompt is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. White Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take LeCompt's back instead.
White gets his hands free as LeCompt looks to control.

White looking to break LeCompt's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. LeCompt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise White will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
White is not going to allow LeCompt to sit and survive in this position.

LeCompt is having to fend off submission attempts from White, who is looking to sink in the choke. White doesn't have the hooks in though and LeCompt manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

LeCompt pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now.
LeCompt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action!
LeCompt's corner is telling him to maintain position.

White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
White keeping moving, preventing LeCompt from controlling successfully.

White is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! LeCompt has his hands clasped together but White extends an breaks LeCompt's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by White.
