Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shinichiro Tomonaga (ranked 599 p4p, 262 weight class) and Robbie Hall (ranked 74 p4p, 34 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shinichiro Tomonaga! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robbie Hall! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomonaga throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hall is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Hall tries to clinch but Tomonaga moves out of range. Tomonaga misses with a hook. Hall ducked under it nicely. Tomonaga takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses. Tomonaga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hall wants to clinch up but Tomonaga keeps it at a distance. Tomonaga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tomonaga looks to land a left hand but Hall moved out of range nicely. Tomonaga lands a slapping body shot.

Hall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tomonaga manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tomonaga is looking to wear down Hall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A looping hook to the body misses from Tomonaga. Tomonaga works the jab nicely. Hall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Come on Hall - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Tomonaga lands a shot to the body. Hall gets control of Tomonaga's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hall will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tomonaga gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hall is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tomonaga has his hands clasped together but Hall extends and breaks Tomonaga's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hall.

Robbie Hall spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
