The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vortmont throws a nice outside leg kick.
Albert Vortmont seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vortmont stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vortmont wants it to stay on the feet.
Vortmont looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vortmont misses with a body shot.
Souza tries to clinch there but Vortmont circles away.
Vortmont connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Gonzo Souza has been cut.
Souza takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Vortmont lands with a right that hurts Souza. Souza looks to clinch but Vortmont throws a short knee that drops Souza. This one is all over!
