Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gad Levy (ranked 4848 p4p, 3380 weight class) and Mason Featheringham (ranked 397 p4p, 331 weight class). Mason Featheringham is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gad Levy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Featheringham!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Featheringham is fending him off so far but Levy persists. Nope, Featheringham circles away and we're back to standing.
Featheringham fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Levy avoids it really well and circles away.
Featheringham slaps away a takedown attempt from Levy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Levy.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Featheringham has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Levy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Featheringham with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Featheringham has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Levy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Levy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Featheringham can do anything to dispel that myth.

Featheringham scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Levy is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Featheringham can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
