Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kulata Bitok (ranked 4799 p4p, 24952 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Bitok shows good takedown defense.
Bitok went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Bitok closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Kulata Bitok will probably get the nod.

Bitok shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard.

That's time! Bitok's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Salvacion shoots in but Bitok avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bitok drops down looking for a counter takedown but Salvacion sprawls and moves away.

Bitok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Bitok manages to step out the way in time.

and Salvacion makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bitok really felt that one!

Salvacion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bitok can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
