Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn The General (ranked 5015 p4p, 4672 weight class) and Lancelot Chaos (ranked 538 p4p, 520 weight class). Chaos has chosen MMA Aggressive Hip Hop Music as his entrance music. Shawn The General had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn The General! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lancelot Chaos! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaos clinches up with The General and pushes him back against the cage. Chaos has dropped down and is working for a takedown. The General is trying to keep an underhook but Chaos manages to get the takedown into half guard. The General gets back to full guard.
The General is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The General is adopting a defensive guard. The General looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Chaos has gone for a leg lock! The General slips out almost immediately though and dives into Chaos's guard. The General throws a strike but Chaos rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. The General is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The General is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chaos sees it coming and defends easily. The General is looking to stall here but Chaos recovers full guard. Chaos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The General is working Chaos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The General trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The General seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chaos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The General is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The General seems to be working for a kimura but Chaos defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The General blocks the strikes from Chaos.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The General wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chaos keeps working. The General is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The General wants to finish this one by submission but Chaos is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from The General. The General can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chaos is looking to escape. The General goes for an armbar but Chaos turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Chaos. Chaos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The General controls Chaos momentarily but Chaos frees himself. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn The General dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The General fails with a takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Chaos prevents a takedown attempt there.

Chaos gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Shawn The General overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The General is looking to improve his position.
