Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Morrison (ranked 3010 p4p, 3001 weight class) and Ty Wong (ranked 346 p4p, 344 weight class). Ty Wong told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Morrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ty Wong! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrison connects with a single shot there. Wong swinging wildly here.
Morrison appears to be looking for a big counter. Morrison feints a jab promting Wong to slip. Morrison then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wong slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Ty Wong has been cut. Wong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morrison.
Wong moves in looking to clinch but Morrison pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wong misses the shot to the body. A quick step to the side and Morrison tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Morrison scores with a hook. Morrison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wong changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morrison throws a looping overhand right but Wong ducks down to avoid it. Wong tries to clinch and Morrison counters with a left and a right that stings Wong. Wong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wong taking a breather here. Wong is looking to take a break and control but Morrison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wong has hold of Morrison's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Morrison seems comfortable defending it but Wong has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Morrison is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Morrison is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wong couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ty Wong! Ty Wong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
