Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Peterson (ranked 23547 p4p, 24224 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Peterson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Berzerk by Eminem. Jake Peterson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Peterson stands up.
Peterson throws a leg kick
and Pudzianowski counters with a single leg into guard. Peterson didn't expect that.
Peterson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peterson throws a nice looking combination but Pudzianowski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Peterson looks to land a combination but Pudzianowski avoids it well.
Peterson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Peterson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pudzianowski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pudzianowski has escaped and now he's on top!
Peterson seems keen to control Pudzianowski's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pudzianowski is sitting in close to Peterson's body. Peterson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pudzianowski is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pudzianowski is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Peterson.
