Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Puck (ranked 3117 p4p, 3391 weight class) and George Jr (ranked 352 p4p, 376 weight class). Wolfgang Puck could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to George Jr's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wolfgang Puck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Jr!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Puck.
Jr checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jab by Puck.
Puck fails to land with a series of punches.
Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Puck but Puck pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Puck instigates a clinch.
Jr avoids a wild elbow strike from Puck.
A nice left hand lands by Puck.

Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch lands to the side of Jr 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Puck's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jr looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Puck manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jr avoids the elbow strike from Puck, against the cage.
Jr tries to score a body lock takedown but Puck shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Puck gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jr.
Wolfgang Puck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Jr.
Jr avoids the elbow strike from Puck, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Puck - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jr takes an elbow to the temple.
Puck is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Puck lands a nice elbow.

Jr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Puck gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Puck tries to circle away but Jr has him pinned against the cage.
Jr is looking for a takedown.
Puck pushes off an throws an elbow but Jr leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Puck lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jr backwards.
A short right from Puck on the inside.
Puck lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jr or not.
Jr looking for a takedown.
Puck looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Puck pushes off an throws an elbow but Jr leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Puck creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jr's defenses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A right hand to the body from Puck.
Jr looks winded!
Puck looks to throw an elbow but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Puck misses with an elbow over the top.
Puck being controlled against the cage.
Jr managing to block the knees to the body from Puck.
Jr letting Puck take a breather here.
Jr takes an elbow to the forehead.
Jr avoids the elbow strike from Puck, against the cage.
Puck is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Puck to keep the fight standing.
Jr tries to pull guard but Puck won't allow it.

Puck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jr blocks a low kick nicely.
Puck connects with the punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jr walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jr is rocked!

Puck rushes Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Puck finish him?
Puck content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Puck is pressed up against the cage. Jr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Puck down to the mat. Puck avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jr seems to have recovered his senses.

Puck feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jr sprawling to the canvas! Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Puck finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Puck ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Jr's jaw. Jr's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Puck does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wolfgang Puck!
