Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JR Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ortiz's choice of entrance music: Mosh. Tito Ortiz is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Velasquez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Velasquez misses with a wild body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Velasquez. Velasquez closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ortiz circles away. A shot to the body from Ortiz misses and Velasquez counters with a series of strikes. Ortiz will be more careful next time no doubt. Ortiz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ortiz looks up at the clock and then as Velasquez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ortiz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ortiz cracks Velasquez with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ortiz working the head and body with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Velasquez trying to remain calm as Ortiz controls from the top position. Velasquez is not content to let Ortiz control the position. Velasquez trying his best to control but Ortiz has mounted him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ortiz is nestled in close to Velasquez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ortiz keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortiz scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Velasquez wants to control but Ortiz is keeping busy.

Velasquez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ortiz connects with a nice short shot to Velasquez's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ortiz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ortiz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ortiz wants to control but Velasquez is keeping him busy. Velasquez wants to control but Ortiz is keeping busy.
Ortiz decides to stand and escape the position. Velasquez wants to clinch up but Ortiz keeps it at a distance. Ortiz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ortiz showed some decent athleticism there. Ortiz drops an elbow to the side of Velasquez's head.

Ortiz stopping the sweep attempt from Velasquez. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ortiz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Velasquez is refusing to be controlled, as Ortiz sits in half guard. Ortiz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Velasquez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ortiz is working away from the top position though. Ortiz trying to control from Velasquez's half guard. Velasquez has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Ortiz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Velasquez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Velasquez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ortiz's back instead. Ortiz tries to escape but Velasquez has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ortiz is trying to stand back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ortiz manages to reverse the position and now he's in Velasquez's guard. Nice work there by Ortiz.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ortiz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ortiz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ortiz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ortiz content to stall in guard here. Ortiz throws and elbow that misses. Velasquez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ortiz's guard. Nice move by Velasquez!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ortiz has his feet on Velasquez's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Ortiz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Velasquez sprawls well initially but Ortiz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Velasquez is staying active underneath Ortiz, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ortiz is thwarting Velasquez's attempts to control the position. Tito Ortiz has got the better of the ground game so far. Ortiz winds up and cracks Velasquez with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ortiz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ortiz decides to stand and escape the position. JR Velasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ortiz scores with a punch to the head. JR Velasquez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ortiz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Velasquez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ortiz pushes down on Velasquez's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ortiz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Velasquez keeps working.

Tito Ortiz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Ortiz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ortiz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Velasquez taking some punishment here, with Ortiz in his half guard. Ortiz is looking to take a break and control but Velasquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ortiz throwing shots but Velasquez is blocking nicely. Tito Ortiz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ortiz slows the pace down in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Velasquez is looking to control Ortiz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Velasquez avoid being mounted? Ortiz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Velasquez trying to hold on to Ortiz's head to control him but Ortiz postures up.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tito Ortiz just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ortiz scores with a jab. Velasquez acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Ortiz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
And that's the end of the fight! Tito Ortiz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ortiz winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
