The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos feints and as Brake raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Santos wants to pass the guard but Brake is keeping the position.
Santos preventing the sweep.
Brake keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully.
Santos passes into half guard.
Brake is looking for a sweep. Santos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Brake wants to control but Santos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Brake tries to get to full guard but Santos has control of the leg.
Brake is in trouble now - Santos has advanced to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Brake is in real trouble.

Santos is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Brake defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Santos misses with a punch to the head.

Santos is cranking Brake's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Brake! He's tightened the choke and Brake is tapping out!
