The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uaber checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Uaber scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Uaber working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lee Tran is trying to stand.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee Tran is staying active underneath Uaber, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lee Tran tries to kick Uaber off but Uaber keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Uaber landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Lee Tran throws a strike from the bottom but Uaber passes into side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Uaber landing strikes, looking to finish! Uaber can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee Tran is looking to escape. Lee Tran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uaber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee Tran is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Uaber connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee Tran is trying to stand. Uaber lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A nice elbow there by Uaber. Uaber throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lee Tran has his hands clasped together but Uaber breaks the hold and Lee Tran is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Uaber!
