Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Comblin (ranked 2812 p4p, 24272 weight class) and Nick Adams (ranked 373 p4p, 676 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Comblin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Adams! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Comblin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Adams scores with a couple of nice shots. Comblin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Comblin wants to get back to his feet.

Comblin has hold of Adams's hands but Adams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Comblin is trying to stand.
Adams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Comblin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Comblin punching from the bottom.
Adams misses with a head shot. Comblin uses the momentum to regain guard. Comblin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Comblin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Adams. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Comblin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Comblin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Adams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Comblin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Adams cracks Comblin with a solid left hand. Adams throwing strikes from guard but Comblin blocks nicely. Comblin has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Adams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Comblin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Comblin is trying to break the clinch but Adams has him pressed against the cage. Adams goes for a takedown attempt but Comblin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Adams tries for a takedown but Comblin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. It looked like Comblin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lee Comblin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Adams. Comblin leaves Adams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Comblin throws a head kick that Adams semi-blocks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Comblin throws a head kick that misses. Adams looks like he wants to counter punch here. Comblin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Adams looks winded! Comblin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Comblin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Adams on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Adams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Comblin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are working up against the cage. Comblin manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Comblin tries to break free but Adams pushes him back against the cage. Comblin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Adams or not. Comblin breaks the clinch.
Comblin drops Adams with a beautiful combination! Adams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Comblin is looking for the KO!
Adams is rocked! A head kick by Comblin - that's a beauty! Adams is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Comblin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lee Comblin!
