Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Comblin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Adams!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Comblin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Adams scores with a couple of nice shots.

Adams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Comblin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Comblin manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Adams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Comblin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Comblin is trying to break the clinch but Adams has him pressed against the cage.
Adams goes for a takedown attempt but Comblin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It looked like Comblin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lee Comblin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Adams.
Comblin leaves Adams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Adams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Comblin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Comblin manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Comblin tries to break free but Adams pushes him back against the cage.
Comblin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Adams or not.

Comblin drops Adams with a beautiful combination! Adams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Comblin is looking for the KO!
Adams is rocked!
A head kick by Comblin - that's a beauty! Adams is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Comblin can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lee Comblin!
