Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kenton Tracks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zac Crawford! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tracks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Crawford has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Crawford tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Crawford scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Tracks throws a nice outside leg kick. Crawford misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tracks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Crawford misses with a takedown letting Tracks counter with a right hand. Crawford has closed the distance and engaged Tracks in a clinch.
Tracks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tracks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Crawford has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Crawford shoots and misses and Tracks counters with a straight punch to the midsection. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tracks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tracks throws a leg kick but Crawford checks it. Crawford moves in looking to clinch but Tracks pushes him off. Tracks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crawford shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tracks sprawls well. Tracks wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crawford gets slowly back to his feet. Tracks looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Kenton Tracks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zac Crawford. Tracks drops Crawford with a beautiful combination! Crawford stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tracks is looking for the KO!
Crawford is rocked!
It looks like Zac Crawford has been cut. Crawford wants to clinch. Crawford is still on wobbly legs! Can Tracks finish him? Tracks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crawford moves into the clinch. Crawford seems to have recovered his senses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tracks manages to break the clinch.
A nice leg kick from Tracks, right into the meat of the thigh.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crawford is defended easily by Tracks. Crawford tries to clinch and Tracks counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Crawford to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Tracks!
