Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geryon Macropus (ranked 2041 p4p, 2075 weight class) and Sheikh Mahmut (ranked 78 p4p, 81 weight class). Mahmut has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Geryon Macropus has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Geryon Macropus seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sheikh Mahmut!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macropus misses the jab.
Macropus slips a straight right by Mahmut.
Macropus walks into a jab.
Mahmut misses the jab.
Macropus is looking to counter the offense by Mahmut and move into the clinch.
Mahmut throws a quick inside leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Mahmut finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mahmut avoids the body shot from Macropus.
Macropus misses with a left hand
letting Mahmut counter with a right hand.

and Mahmut connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Macropus is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Mahmut's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Mahmut drops Macropus with a beautiful combination! Macropus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mahmut is looking for the KO!
Macropus is rocked!
Mahmut has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Macropus leaves his chin hanging out and Mahmut seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Macropus crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
