The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishinoba throws a lazy uppercut
and Espensen counters with a body kick that stops Ishinoba in his tracks momentarily.
Ishinoba misses with a wild body shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Espensen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Ishinoba throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Espensen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Espensen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Espensen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ishinoba swinging wildly here.
We've been informed that Ishinoba has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Espensen connects with a right hand. Ishinoba shakes it off.
Espensen throws a shot to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Espensen.
Ishinoba is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ishinoba has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Espensen.
Ishinoba shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Espensen lands a slapping body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ishinoba looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Espensen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ishinoba doesn't seem bothered though.

Espensen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ishinoba to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ishinoba looks to clinch but Espensen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ishinoba taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
