Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Richards (ranked 4254 p4p, 3930 weight class) and Nero Suarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Richards might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 300 Violin Orchestra. Suarez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nero Suarez!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suarez pinned against the cage. Suarez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Richards misses with a double jab
and Suarez counters with a shoot takedown. Richards fights it but they end up in guard.
Suarez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Suarez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Suarez stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Richards has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Suarez manages to get his head free but now Richards has transitioned to an armbar! Suarez grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Richards! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jacob Richards!
Jacob Richards spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
