Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Danielos Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones is looking to stand up but Tiger isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tiger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Tiger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tiger has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Tiger, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Tiger against the cage but Tiger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jones throws a right hand that Tiger ducks under and follows up with a left that Tiger also avoids with ease.

Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Tiger seems to have recovered his senses.
Danielos Tiger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jones stalks Tiger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tiger's face. Tiger staggers backwards, shaken.
Tiger tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Tiger ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones tries to clinch but Tiger is having none of it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Tiger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Tiger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tiger on the ground.
Tiger tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Tiger pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tiger is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tiger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nice uppercut there from Jones.
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tiger on the side of the head.
Tiger looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well.
Jones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tiger's hands.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tiger eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tiger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tiger has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tiger avoids it really well and circles away.

and Tiger counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jones!

Tiger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tiger is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
Danielos Tiger has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tiger remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Bobby Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tiger wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
Danielos Tiger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jones pushes Tiger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tiger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bobby Jones showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
