PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madden has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Bill Madden is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madden throws a wild body kick that Smith sees coming a mile off.
Smith turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Madden looks gassed!
Smith throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Madden tumbling to the canvas!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith wanted to stand there but Madden had control of the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Smith decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Madden, up you get!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Smith connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

The cut above Bill Madden's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Smith flashes Madden a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Madden's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Madden crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Smith punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
