Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between redheaded Step Child (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jossh Doubles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Step Child comes to the cage accompanied by Ginger Sex. Doubles has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight (Best of Rocky 6) as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doubles closes the distance and clinches up with Step Child, looking for a takedown. Doubles pushes Step Child against the cage but Step Child circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Step Child shoots and misses
and Doubles counters with a single leg into guard. Step Child didn't expect that.

Doubles wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Step Child, who protects the arm well.

Doubles is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Step Child doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Doubles.

Step Child slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Step Child really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Step Child has an active guard here but Doubles has managed to pass into half guard.
Doubles looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Step Child is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Doubles pulls his head out easily.

Doubles wants to work for an arm triangle but Step Child is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Doubles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Step Child is just riding it out for now. Doubles eventually gives up the hold.

Step Child escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doubles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Doubles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Step Child has his foot on Doubles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doubles works his way back into a safe position though.

Step Child quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Doubles has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Step Child celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
