Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 4706 p4p, 5877 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walay Buut acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mibangon on his heels. He'll look to pass Mibangon's guard now, I'm sure. Mibangon is controlling Buut's posture. Buut controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mibangon holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut sitting in guard here, content to control. Buut's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon pulls Buut in to control the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Buut sitting in guard here, content to control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut has a takedown stuffed. Mibangon appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mibangon looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Buut controlling Mibangon's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. More stalling from Buut. Mibangon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Buut is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Let's hope that Buut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Buut as Mibangon shoots in. Mibangon shoots for a takedown but Buut saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Buut follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Mibangon shoots in for a double leg but Buut sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Buut counters with a body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mibangon's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Mibangon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Buut is trying to counter with his kicks. Mibangon throws a shot to the body.

Mibangon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buut but Buut pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown but Buut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buut fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. Buut throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mibangon was covering up waiting for the punch and Buut finishes the takedown easily into guard. Buut is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Walay Buut has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Buut is one step ahead there. Mibangon controlling the position. Mibangon continues to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mibangon is trying to keep Buut in close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mibangon fails to land the takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mibangon defends it nicely. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Mibangon looks for a takedown but Buut sprawls well. A countering left hand to the body from Buut misses. Buut fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mibangon to the ground. Buut is now in Mibangon's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Buut with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mibangon is trying to keep Buut in close.
Buut not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mibangon keeping moving, preventing Buut from controlling successfully. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Buut stays in close to Mibangon's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buut fails with a takedown attempt. Mibangon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buut defends it nicely. Buut has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Mibangon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Buut leaves Mibangon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Minatay Mibangon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mibangon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Walay Buut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut swings for the body but Mibangon moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Buut has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
