Cigarette kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Burning of the Midnight Lamp. Midnight Cigarette has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cigarette shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cigarette is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Jones wants to get back to full guard.
Cigarette controlling the action here.
Cigarette working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.
Cigarette is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Cigarette has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Cigarette has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jones wants to sweep here but Cigarette controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cigarette wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Cigarette is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jones is in a horrible position here. Cigarette smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
