The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick slips under a jab.
Lawrence scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lawrence works Wick's body with a nice hook.
Lawrence definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It looks like Johnny Lawrence has been cut.
Lawrence connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wick thuds a left hand into Lawrence's body.
Johnny Lawrence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawrence throws a body punch but Wick moves out of range.
Wick swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wick has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wick is pushing Lawrence up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Lawrence pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fighters circling - Wick throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wick takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
