Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ollie Ormandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens looks to score with a jab to the body but Ormandy is just out of range.
Lukens forces Ormandy back against the cage and clinches.
Lukens is pressed up against the cage. Ormandy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lukens down to the mat. Lukens avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ormandy goes for a takedown attempt but Lukens pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Lukens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ormandy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lukens is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ormandy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Lukens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lukens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ormandy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ormandy tries to get out of the position.
Ormandy is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ormandy is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lukens is looking to take a break and control but Ormandy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ormandy is looking to regain half guard here but Lukens keeps moving and retains side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ormandy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lukens pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lukens wants to get back to striking at distance but Ormandy won't allow it.

Ormandy tightens his grip and picks Lukens up, before dumping him to the ground. Lukens manages to land in guard.

Lukens ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lukens throws a leg kick that misses.
Ormandy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lukens counters with a takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here.
Lukens is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ormandy is trying to escape and Lukens transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ormandy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lukens! Very nice indeed!
