Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Liriano as he avoids it easily.
Torres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Liriano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Torres at a distance.
Liriano throws a combination. Torres tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Rusty Torres has been cut.
Liriano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Torres to the mat! Torres manages to get full guard.
Liriano looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Torres is looking for a triangle but Liriano pushes his legs off easily.

Liriano stands up from Torres's guard - Liriano perhaps looking for a knockout.
Torres shoots in for a double leg but Liriano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nelson Liriano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rusty Torres.
Liriano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Liriano throws a series of strikes that have Torres backpedaling.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Torres shoots for a double leg takedown but Liriano sprawls well. He's pushed Torres's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Liriano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Liriano lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Torres backs up against the cage.

Liriano catches Torres with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Torres has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Liriano.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Liriano looks to land a combination. Torres sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

A punch lands to the side of Torres 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Liriano is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Torres takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Torres has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Liriano finds it's way round the side to connect with Torres's head.
Torres walks into a stiff left hand from Liriano.
Torres is rocked!
Liriano lands with a right that hurts Torres. Torres looks to clinch but Liriano throws a short knee that drops Torres. This one is all over!
