Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kiffin Refen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Simons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simons has chosen Turnt Up as his entrance music. Henry Simons struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Refen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Simons swivels and escapes.
Simons looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Refen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Refen is trying to break the clinch but Simons has him pressed against the cage.
Simons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Refen lunges at Simons with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Simons's hand.
It looks like Henry Simons has been cut.
Simons closes the distance but Refen moves to the side
and Refen counters with a one-two to the body.
Simons is rocked!
Simons dodges the punch combination from Refen.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Refen knocks Simons out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
