Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dio Nysus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Castle!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle shoots in for a takedown but Nysus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Castle uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nysus.
Castle is looking to clinch but Nysus is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nysus gets underhooks to prevent Castle's takedown attempt.
Castle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Nysus pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dio Nysus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Castle.
Nysus trying to stall but Castle improves his position.

Nysus manages to break the clinch.
Castle takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Frank Castle has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Castle tries to close the distance and clinch but Nysus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nysus misses with a hook.
Nysus looks to score with a jab to the body but Castle is just out of range.

Nysus looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Nysus swings for the body but Castle moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nysus tries to avoid it but Castle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nysus to the ground. Nysus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nysus sends Castle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nysus is motioning to the referee to let Castle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nysus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Castle circles away quickly and effectively.
Castle tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nysus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Castle is rocked!

Castle gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nysus goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nysus can't find room to land a body shot as Castle controls the action.
Nysus stops a takedown attempt from Castle.
Still in the clinch, Nysus scores with a nice short uppercut.
A right hand to the body from Nysus.
Nysus gets underhooks to prevent Castle's takedown attempt.
Nysus is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Nysus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice takedown defense from Nysus. No joy for Castle on that attempt.
Castle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nysus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nysus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nysus wants it to stay on the feet.
Castle shoots for a takedown but Nysus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Castle looks winded!

Nysus feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Castle sprawling to the canvas! Castle rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nysus finish him?!
Castle is still on wobbly legs! Can Nysus finish him?

That has opened up Frank Castle's cut even more.

Nysus lands a body shot.
Nysus wobbles Castle with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Nysus dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Castle to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dio Nysus!
An out of breath Dio Nysus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
