Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Honda (ranked 828 p4p, 1149 weight class) and Desi Kraag (ranked 25 p4p, 39 weight class). Honda comes to the cage accompanied by E. Honda Stage Theme Extended. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kraag tries to sprawl but Honda drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kraag is trying to get back to full guard.
Honda winds up and cracks Kraag with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kraag is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Honda lands a nice short elbow.
Honda is pressing down on Kraag's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kraag is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kraag looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Kraag is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Honda pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Honda drops an elbow to the side of Kraag's head.
Honda wants to free his trapped foot but Kraag is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kraag is not content to let Honda control the position.
Kraag is looking to improve his position.

Kraag looking for subs from the bottom but Honda mounts him!
Honda avoids the attempt from Kraag to control.
Honda putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kraag is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Honda with a couple of short strikes.
Honda postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kraag badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Honda around the waist but Honda pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Honda is the winner by TKO! Honda jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edmond Honda!
A relieved looking Edmond Honda thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
