This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 23 losses; Roman Boesku!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Miyagi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Boesku for as long as he can get away with.

Miyagi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Miyagi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Boesku is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Boesku is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Boesku!

A very excited looking Roman Boesku made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
