This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 20 wins and 21 losses; Pavel Savkov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Savkov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gatsby to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gatsby shrugs it off.

Savkov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gatsby keeps working.

Gatsby is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Savkov frees his head nicely. Oh but Gatsby has switched to an armbar! Savkov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
