Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 2074 p4p, 3956 weight class) and Adelard Desormeaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brent might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ladies and Gentlemen. Desormeaux has chosen o canada as his entrance music. David Brent has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desormeaux lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Brent wants to finish this one by submission but Desormeaux is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Brent.

David Brent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Desormeaux has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brent is working away from the top position though.

Brent is working to tighten his grip on Desormeaux's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Desormeaux has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Brent is really squeezing tight and eventually Desormeaux passes out! Brent breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
