Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rex Gunn (ranked 92 p4p, 513 weight class) and Yasha Big Mouth (ranked 13 p4p, 56 weight class). Gunn comes to the cage accompanied by Miami. Big Mouth is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bigmouth Strikes Again. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yasha Big Mouth!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Big Mouth misses.
It looked like Gunn was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Big Mouth.
Big Mouth uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gunn.
Big Mouth dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gunn. That did some damage!
Gunn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gunn sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A punch combination from Big Mouth misses.
Big Mouth lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Big Mouth lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Big Mouth lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gunn takes a step back to recover.
Big Mouth jabs Gunn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Big Mouth lands with a straight right. Gunn didn't see that one coming.
Big Mouth misses the shot to the body.
Big Mouth misses with a wild body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Big Mouth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gunn.
Gunn looks to land a left hand but Big Mouth moved out of range nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Big Mouth! But no joy.
A nice leg kick from Big Mouth, right into the meat of the thigh.
Big Mouth wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

It looked like Gunn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Big Mouth pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gunn is out of range and Big Mouth settles back down.

and Gunn counters with a nice right hand that sends Big Mouth toppling to the canvas! Big Mouth scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gunn finish him?!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Big Mouth connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gunn. Gunn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A left lands for Big Mouth.
Yasha Big Mouth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Big Mouth connects with a crisp jab.
Crunch! Big Mouth slams his shin into Gunn's torso.

A good leg kick by Big Mouth.
Gunn throws out a leg kick but Big Mouth moves out of range and Gunn only half commits.
Big Mouth appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Gunn lands with a cross.
Big Mouth is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gunn had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Gunn takes one on the button.
Big Mouth throws a quick inside leg kick.

Gunn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Big Mouth sprawling to the canvas! Big Mouth rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gunn finish him?!
Big Mouth is still on wobbly legs! Can Gunn finish him?
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Big Mouth checks a leg kick.
Gunn throws a jab but it's blocked by Big Mouth.
Gunn checks a low kick from Big Mouth.
Gunn takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Big Mouth seems to have recovered his senses.
Gunn misses the jab.
Big Mouth closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gunn cracks Big Mouth's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Big Mouth slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Gunn can do further damage! This one is done, son!
