Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miki Viki (ranked 894 p4p, 990 weight class) and Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 123 p4p, 138 weight class). Miki Viki is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reedtz throws a body shot but no joy.
Viki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Reedtz thumps Viki with a low kick.
Reedtz scores with the left hand. Viki knows he should have avoided that one.
Viki will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Reedtz was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Viki avoids the body shot from Reedtz.
Viki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reedtz moves away.

Reedtz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Viki.

Viki throws a low kick but Reedtz avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reedtz dives in for a single leg takedown but Viki sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Reedtz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Reedtz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Viki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Viki is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reedtz is controlling him well.

My spies in Rasmus's Fun House inform me that Reedtz has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
