Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Damian Dudley (ranked 1376 p4p, 1705 weight class) and CJ Tripp (ranked 187 p4p, 222 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damian Dudley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, CJ Tripp! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tripp on the wrong end of a nice hook. Damian Dudley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dudley wants to clinch. Tripp counters with a body kick.
Dudley moves into the clinch. Tripp avoids the elbow strike from Dudley, against the cage.
Tripp blocks the elbow strike.
Tripp swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dudley lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
 It looks like CJ Tripp has been cut. Dudley throws an elbow but it misses.
Dudley blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Our sources have told us that Dudley has been working on his elbows in the gym. Tripp avoids the elbow strike from Dudley, against the cage.
Dudley lands an elbow inside.
Tripp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tripp misses with a kick to the body.
Dudley wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dudley is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
 That has opened up CJ Tripp's cut even more. Dudley wants to clinch.
Dudley gets a clinch. Tripp throws a head punch that misses. Dudley lands an elbow that stopped Tripp in his tracks for a moment. Tripp blocks an elbow strike. Tripp lands a right hand. Dudley works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Tripp looks winded! Dudley lands an elbow inside.
 The cut above CJ Tripp's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tripp takes an elbow to the temple. Dudley creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dudley tries to throw a body punch but Tripp avoids it by throwing Dudley back against the cage. Dudley creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tripp's defenses.
 CJ Tripp's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Dudley cracks Tripp with a nice body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dudley comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at CJ Tripp's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Damian Dudley! Jumping up and down and very excited, Damian Dudley waved his t-shirt featuring Vegan Gains's logo in front of the cameras.
