Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Naoko Marui (ranked 470 p4p, 80 weight class) and Rob Roy (ranked 69 p4p, 11 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Naoko Marui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marui misses with a body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Roy! But no joy.
Roy slips under a jab from Marui.
Marui throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marui throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Roy on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Roy.
Marui fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roy manages to avoid it.
Roy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Marui takes a swing at Roy's ribcage but misses.
Roy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marui was well out of range. Poor timing from Roy.
It looked like Marui was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Roy lands a nice shot to the body.
Roy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Roy throws out a counter right but Marui avoids it with no problem.
Marui is looking to wear down Roy with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Marui fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Roy manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marui scores with a one two! Roy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Roy jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Marui cracks Roy with a good jab.
Marui bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Roy slips a jab from Marui.
Marui throws a right hand that misses
and Roy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Naoko Marui has been cut.
Nice shot lands for Roy.

Marui is rocked!
Roy drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Marui right on the button. Marui goes down! Roy follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Roy gets the win via TKO!
