The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapisi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dankovich moves away.
Kapisi misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Dankovich counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kapisi lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Anzor Dankovich has been cut.
Kapisi throws a body shot but no joy.
Dankovich fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kapisi just manages to avoid it.
Dankovich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kapisi.
We've been informed that Kapisi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dankovich takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kapisi misses with an uppercut.
Dankovich is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kapisi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dankovichs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Dankovich counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dankovich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dankovich avoids the body shot from Kapisi.
Kapisi misses with a left hand
and Dankovich counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dankovich lands a big uppercut and Kapisi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kapisi looks OK. Dankovich waves Kapisi back to his feet!

It looks like Keone Kapisi has been cut.
We've been told by Dankovich's head coaches at Primal Concrete Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dankovich weaves into range and cracks Kapisi right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kapisi goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dankovich is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anzor Dankovich!

Anzor Dankovich was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
