Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Mcduffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewayne Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dewayne Carter!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcduffy shoots in but no luck this time.
Carter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carter throws a nice looking combination but Mcduffy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mcduffy wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcduffy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mcduffy wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy.

Carter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcduffy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mcduffy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Carter is looking for a kimura but Mcduffy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Carter to get the leverage.

Mcduffy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mcduffy wants to get back to his feet.
Carter swings around for an armbar but Mcduffy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carter's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dewayne Carter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Carter is working for a kimura but Mcduffy is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mcduffy holds on and takes a little breather.
Mcduffy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carter's guard.
Dewayne Carter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Dewayne Carter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
