Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Roy (ranked 103 p4p, 620 weight class) and Better Dead (ranked 14 p4p, 93 weight class). Better Dead will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Better Dead!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead throws a looping overhand right but Roy ducks down to avoid it.
A quick step to the side and Roy tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dead throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Roy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dead bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roy's head backwards.
Dead misses with a looping left.
Roy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dead misses with an uppercut. Roy saw that one coming.

Roy drops Dead with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dead looks back up at him and smiles so Roy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Better Dead has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roy lands a nice looking body kick.
Roy connects with a single shot there.
Roy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Dead is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dead connects with a right hand. Roy shakes it off.
Dead misses with an uppercut.
Dead throws an overhand right that lands on Roy's shoulder, as Roy tries to avoid the shot.
Dead gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Roy counters with a big right hand! Oh Dead is in trouble here! Roy follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Roy!
